I have been in Internet related jobs since 1993, but I still get a little giddy finding people that I haven’t been in contact with for years. Specifically people from high school. Recently, a friend of mine from high school that I still keep in touch with sent me a link to a mutual friend’s web site. We exchanged a couple of emails and it was really great to hear from someone that was once a daily part of my life. I also Googled another mutual friend and found out that she does voice overs. She sounds really great.

During high school, I got to be friends with my computer lab teacher, Jeff Paisley. We have been in contact off an on for the past 18 years (do the math and guess my age). He recently retired from teaching and wrote a book called “Fifty-Five Fathers“. It is a great book about sons and their relationships with their fathers. I love it because it is a book that is easy to digest, but it teaches you so much about relationships. In the short time since I have read it, it has helped me understand what my son may need from me as a father. I think as we grow older, we quickly forget what we expected from our fathers. This book brings that back in focus from a lot (55 to be exact) angles. Check out Jeff’s site.
