School of Rock Music

This is another shot from the School of Rock Music Best of Season show back in May of 2009.  I love the colors on this one and the way she is looking down at the solo he is concentrating so hard to bust out perfectly. I got a lot of great shots which can be seen in this Flickr set.

Timber…Cough,Cough

At 7:30 a.m. on June 28, 2008, Xcel Energy razed the 570-foot-tall smokestack of the High Bridge power plant near downtown St. Paul, Minnesota.  I took about 150 shots in the entire sequence of the tower falling.  You can check out the video below.

Angel With Rocks

I’ve had the privilege of shooting this family for 3 years.  This wonderful little girl has a twin sister and they love the camera.  I will be posting more photos of her and her sister.  They have this really fun quality to them that comes through in the photos…as long as they get their naps before the photo session.

Hail To The Chief

Anyone who knows me well knows that I love a well made Manhattan.  I’ll drink them on the rocks or up…I’m not picky.  Last summer I picked up this special edition election bottle of Maker’s Mark from a liquor store in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area where I live.  It displayed both the elephant and the donkey with the red, white & blue wax.  I should have saved it, but my will power was weak.  It was delicious.
