New Paths

This was my first senior photo shoot.  It wasn’t a conventional shoot and this wasn’t a conventional teen.  It was the son of one of my co-workers.  He knew exactly where he wanted to shoot.  We drove to a neighborhood close to the freeway and some train bridges.  After hiking down to the tracks I realized that these were going to be some very cool shots.  Zach is a youth circus performer and I didn’t have to guide him much at all.  He knew how to pose, how to look at the camera and how to mix it up.

I like several different things about this photo.

  • The relaxed and easy going look Zach has
  • The back-lighting
  • The lines of the tracks

Thanks Zach!
